TransparentRETS™ Overview

TransparentRETS™ is a import tool, designed to import raw RETS listing data and photos from a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) RETS server directly into a Open-Realty® listing database.

This option is for mid to advanced users who are very comfortable with installing and modifying PHP applications on a website. With this option you are purchasing a perpetual license to use our software. but you are also then completely responsible for all configuration and setup of the software to work with your MLS RETS Server.

IDXManager IDX FTP Developer Solutions

Our flexible and proven IDXManager™ add-on software is avaliable for use on Open-Realty® websites that are privately hosted. This is the ideal solution for anyone already running their own server, or who already has access to great hosting accounts and wants to have the ability to import from a compatible MLS IDX FTP repository into Open-Realty®, without paying ongoing monthly fees.

IDXManager DIY Package

This option is for mid to advanced developers who are very comfortable with installing and modifying PHP website software applications, and who have worked extensively with mySQL and Open-Realty®.

Configuring the IDXManager add-on software to work with your client's MLS's IDX FTP repository can sometimes be an involved process which will depend entirely on how much information your client's MLS provides you, how accurate that information is, and how much time you have already spent reviewing and examining the raw listing data files. Be prepared to spend 5-20 hours investigating, obtaining information from the MLS, and creating the initial (100% web form based) data mapping template for the MLS's IDX FTP repository. With a DIY package you are purchasing a perpetual license to use the IDXManager™ add-on software, but you are also completely responsible for all configuration and setup of the software.

TransparentMaps™ Overview

TransparentMaps™ uses the Google Maps API to embed maps into various Open-Realty® pages. The maps have several template tags available to them and are fully configurable through the Add-on Configuration.

1. Search Results Map - Embed a map to display the search results on an embedded map.
2. Listing Show Map - Embed a map on the listing detail to show a map of the listing.
3. Listings in the area - Embed a map on the listing detail page to show listings within a configured distance from the current listing.
4. Agent Listings Map - Embed a map on the agent detail page to show a map of all of an agent's listings.
5. Fully Configurable - Addon configuration similar to Open-Realty's configuration, allows changes to the layout and fields in the pop up info windows, size of maps, if a link should be a pop up or an inline link and various other options.
6. Icons per property class - Marker icon colors are changeable per property class and allow you to have different marker colors for each property class. Marker icons for up to 25 property classes are included.
7. Geocoding of listings - When listings are to be displayed on the map they are checked for lat/long data, if the listing does not have lat/long data filled in, the listing is geocoded and the lat/long data is stored to the listing database to speed up future rendering of maps displaying that listing.
8. Geocode all listings - A function that can be called via a server CRON job to geocode any listings without lat/long data, or can be called via the browser as well. If a large number of listings are added this will ensure they all have lat/long data set in the database to speed up map rendering.

CSVLoader Overview

The CSVLoader loads listing data from comma separated value(CSV) files, which can be generated using MS Excel, MS Access, and many other spreedsheet applications.

CSVLoader Features

1. Can import data from a single CSV file.
2. Can import data from two CSV files by joining the data from each file on common field. An example of this would be apartments listed in file 1 and the apartment buildings listed in file 2 and you could join data from both files based on a building ID column.
3. Can import remote images. By placing the URL of an image in one or more fields in your CSV file, the image can be downloaded and imported into Open-Realty, a thumbnail of the iamge will also be generated.
4. Can be run as any Open-Realty agent or admin. *Running the import will remove all of the users previous listings.
5. Can save the import to run again later on the same file, or one with the same setup without having to re map the fields.
6. Data scrubbing for number and price fields to only import numeric values.
